Natalie Caruncho

Dream Catcher

Sister. Actress. Singer. Dancer. Writer. Dreamer.

Based in New York City.

"Before she could walk, she was dancing" or so the story goes. As long as Natalie can remember she wanted to be onstage, and what started as a dream to be ballerina turned into the pursuit of a career as an artist. This fall, Natalie will be making her Broadway debut in ON YOUR FEET as Dance Captain/ Swing. Since moving to NYC, Natalie has been a part of two 1st National Tours, the Tony Award winning In the Heights (ensemble, u/s Nina, Vanessa, Carla) under the direction of Tommy Kail, music director Alex Lacamoire (another Miami native) and choreographer Andy Blankenbeuhler. The production was an absolute dream come true and was fully realized when she played Nina with Lin- Manuel Miranda, who created the show and originated the role of Usnavi. The other is Flashdance the Musical, where she started as the Dance Captain and understudy for the star role Alex Owens. In 2014, she was the Associate Choreographer for the 2nd National Tour of Flashdance. It has been quite a journey. Other favorite credits include a site- specific Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Puck), A Chorus Line (Diana Morales) at the Berkshire Theatre Festival and West Side Story (Francisca). The desire to create her own work and surround herself with other like minded artists is ever-present. It was this impulse that led to DreamCatcher Theatre and she is thrilled to get started on this next adventure with her brother, Joe/Joey/JJ/Brosis, who is a constant source of support and awesomeness. She has a BFA in Acting from Florida State University and is a proud member of Actor's Equity.

Brother. Actor. Singer. Musician. Fighter. Dreamer.

Based in New York City.

In his career so far, JJ has been blessed to tell incredible stories, and to train under/perform with more of his heroes than he'd ever dreamed. As a leading actor, JJ has gotten to play roles Off-Broadway in NYC, around the country, and internationally. Some of his favorite roles so far include Usnavi De La Vega in In The Heights, the title role in Hamlet in both London & Stratford Upon Avon, The Dreamer in The Suicide Notes, Arnold Wiggins in The Boys Next Door, and Bond in the indie film Shaken. As an Operatic Tenor, Musical Theatre, Jazz, and Gospel singer, JJ has trained in the Bel Canto studio of great American Soprano Karen Nimereala (protégé of the legendary Franco Corelli), as well as with his hero and vocal mentor Tituss Burgess, and the brilliant Bill Daugherty. He has also been blessed to sing to sold out audiences at many of America's greatest concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in NYC, The Kennedy Center, Symphony Hall in Boston, Jazz at Lincoln Center in NYC, & many others. He can be heard on the Gospel album "Welcome" and recently toured the USA singing with the legendary Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra under the baton of one of America's great musical geniuses, Mr. Damien Sneed. A lifelong musician, JJ, a saxophone player, has played around the country. He's also an extremely dedicated Martial Artist with a special passion for helping to evolve his area of expertise, Close Quarters Combat; and, to that end, has developed his own blade system and his own training system, Kronos. He's honored to have trained humbly under many practitioners who he truly believes are some of the greatest Martial Arts Masters of all time. He is so excited to be joining with his sister, Natalie, a person and artist whom he has always admired so deeply, on this new adventure to bring magical storytelling experiences to you, our friends and audience.
